Promote your store on and off eBay:
Many search engines have "sponsored results" that you can pay to be included in, some of them
are quite reasonable. Look for links that say: "See your message here..." or "Advertise with us"

Submit your store data feed to Froogle for free!
1. Go to your store front and click on "Seller, manage Store."
2. Under "Store Marketing" on the left, click on "Listing Feeds."
3. Under "Search engines and comparison sites," select "Make a file of your Store inventory
listings available" and click on the "Apply" button.
4. When your listings are ready, they will be here: http://esssl.ebay.com/GetListings/yourstorename
(no hyphens, no spaces and no capital letters in your store name.)

That's all there is to it. You can also provide the feed to other sites to be included in their results

Make an RSS feed available from your storefront!
1. Go to your store front and click on "Seller, manage Store."
2. Under "Store Marketing" on the left, click on "Listing Feeds."
3. Under "RSS Feeds," select "Distribute your listings via RSS." and click on the "Apply" button.
4. A

button will now be located at the bottom of your storefront.

Run auctions to promote your store - be sure to have a prominent link to your store in the
listings! You can make custom logos or buttons with any of these

Use a signature gif in eBay's forums! Any of the above button makers can be used to make
a nice signature image to use on eBay's discussion boards. Signature images may not exceed
220 x 50 pixels. You will need to have the image hosted somewhere on the Internet, either using
Picture Manager on eBay, or a photo host off of eBay.

To enable your signature on eBay:
1. Copy your image url from your photo host.
2. From any eBay discussion board, click on "Settings" at the top of the page.
3. Using the following code, substitute the url of your signature gif for "http://www.siggy.gif" and
your storefront url for "http://stores.ebay.com/your-store-name"

4. Click on the "save" button. Your signature will now show up under every post you make.

Try a paid banner through eBay's Keywords by Admarketplace https://ebay.admarketplace.net/ebay/servlet/ebay/psp/ebayhome. Be sure to check out any
promotions they are running!

Note: For WebRing.com rings, be sure you use the HTML version of the NavBar. For eBay only rings, the Ring Manager probably has the ring configured to offer the HTML version first. For rings that are not eBay specific, the SSNB code is probably offered first. Look at the very bottom of the page for a link to the HTML version.

Note: For WebRing.com rings, they are currently having problems associated with their recent server upgrade and coding changes. Best viewed with Internet Explorer until they get things fixed.

Do you have a blog? Do you have a link from your blog to your eBay store? A blog doesn't have to be about your eBay store to drive traffic to it.

Do you use discussion boards off eBay? Include a discreet link to your eBay store or About Me page in your signature. Be sure to follow any posting guidelines the discussion board has, or your could be banned.

Include a link to your eBay store in your e-mail signature. Some providers are a little restrictive about what links you may or may not use. If in doubt, check with your provider. AOL has some odd restrictions if you use them.

Use logo items to promote your eBay store! Wear a shirt with your eBay store name on it, carry a bag with your eBay store name on it. These can be purchased on eBay in many cases!

Get a bumper sticker or license plate frame made with your eBay store name on it, or if you don't want adhesives, consider a window cling that requires no adhesive.

Just make sure that your state allows stuff on your car windows, most do, but again some are more restrictive.
